When Cassini Films was approached by Lonesome Pine to create the Electronic Press Kit for their new drama The Feud, we knew it was a unique opportunity to tell a story beyond the scripted narrative. Our brief, was to direct, shoot, and edit the entire EPK—a project that required me to capture the essence of the production while maintaining an intimate, behind-the-scenes perspective.
We wanted to create more than just a typical press kit; we aimed to showcase the creative energy and commitment of the cast and crew. Using handheld cameras and natural light, we captured candid moments on set, revealing the real personalities behind the characters and the raw, unfiltered emotions of the team.
The editing process was equally challenging. It involved distilling hours of footage into a concise, engaging story that represented the heart of the drama. Our goal was to craft a behind-the-scenes look that complemented the high-stakes themes of loyalty and betrayal present in The Feud.
Collaborating with Lonesome Pine was a fantastic opportunity for us to work with a high-end television broadcast company and Channel 5.
